How we learn

We follow a plan for caregiving rather than a set of activities: each baby keeps their own schedule, and it changes as they grow.
Feeding, rest, diapering and play are all moments for warm, responsive care and conversation.
Rooms are home-like and made for safe exploration of natural objects and sensory materials.
Every day includes time outside: the playground, grass, mulch and sand, and nature walks.
Teachers observe and plan across personal & social, language, cognitive and physical development, following Maryland’s Guidelines for Healthy Child Development and Care for Young Children.
